Students Provide Hope for Families in Need This Holiday

Milwaukee, Wis.-   Students from Brown Street Academy demonstrate their commitment to the community in the annual Walk for Hope.  Students will parade across Johnson Park at the corner of 17th Street and Fond du Lac Avenue (weather permitting) and drop off their donation in the Feeding America truck.  “In a neighborhood that has its challenges, it’s nice to know that the children of this neighborhood are doing their part to provide a brighter holiday to those in need, many of whom live right in this community,” said Bonnie J. Bellehumeur.  This is the tenth year that students from Brown Street Academy have held the Walk for Hope.
