Halftime at the Bucks v. Hawks game

Winning schools from the 9th Annual PB&J Challenge were honored during half time at the Milwaukee Bucks vs. Atlanta Hawks game on Monday, January 23. The Peanut Butter and Jelly Challenge is all about kids helping kids. It encourages elementary and middle school students to collect peanut butter and jelly during the month of October.

The 2011 winning schools were recognized at halftime:

Most pounds of PB&J per school:

  • St. Joseph Catholic Academy (Lower Campus), Kenosha: 1,776 pounds
  • Whitefish Bay Middle School, Whitefish Bay: 5,128 pounds

Most pounds of PB&J per student:

  • St. Patrick Parish School, Elkhorn: 7.6 pounds per student – 451 pounds total
  • Steffen Middle School, Mequon – 2.5 pounds per student – 1,059 pounds total
