PB&J Challenge Winners Announced

Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin is proud to announce the winners of our 10th Annual PB&J Challenge! Congratulations and a special thanks to all the students for their hard work! 

There are two categories of winners, most pounds per school and most pounds per student, with an elementary, middle and high school in each category. 

Most pounds of PB&J per school:

St. Joseph Catholic Academy (Lower Campus), Kenosha - 1,100 pounds

Whitefish Bay Middle School, Whitefish Bay - 3,000 pounds

Bay View High School, Milwaukee - 67 pounds

Most pounds of PB&J per student:

St. Patrick Parish School, Elkhorn - 6.6 pounds per student = 415 pounds

Steffen Middle School, Mequon - 3 pounds per student = 1,229 pounds

The Peanut Butter & Jelly Challenge is all about kids helping kids. It encourages elementary, middle and high school students to collect peanut butter and jelly during the month of October to help feed children struggling with hunger. Students from 78 area schools participated in the 10th Annual PB&J Challenge this year.
